This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and product marking, packaging, transportation and storage of air filters (referred to as filters). This standard applies to dry filters for ventilation, air conditioning and air purification systems or equipment under normal temperature and humidity, including external electric field conditions.
