Scope: This standard specifies the fire test methods for door and roller shutter assemblies installed in openings of vertical dividing members. Such as: - hinged doors, pivot doors; - horizontal sliding doors, vertical sliding doors, including linked sliding doors and sectional doors; - rolling shutter doors; - other sliding and folding doors; - flap doors; - A door that can move in the wall. The test methods specified in this standard can also be used to determine the fire resistance of non-load-bearing horizontal doors and roller shutters by analogy. The direct application range given in Chapter 13 is not applicable to horizontal doors. This standard does not include requirements for mechanical suitability, such as shock tests or endurance tests, which are contained in the relevant product standards.
