- This standard gives the general rules and technical details for measuring the magnetic properties of electrical steel sheets (strips) with a single sheet tester. This standard is applicable under power frequency conditions: a) Grain-oriented electrical steel sheet (strip): Measured at the peak value of the magnetic polarization intensity of 1.0T~1.8T: ——Specific total loss; ——Specific apparent power; — — the effective value of the magnetic field strength. Measured at the peak of the magnetic field strength not higher than 1000A/m: - the peak value of the magnetic polarization; - the peak value of the magnetic field strength. b) Measurement of non-oriented electrical steel sheet (strip) at the peak value of magnetic polarization between 0.8T and 1.5T: ——specific total loss; ——specific apparent power; ——effective value of excitation current. Measured at the peak of the magnetic field strength not higher than 10000A/m: - the peak value of the magnetic polarization; - the peak value of the magnetic field strength. The single-chip tester specified in this standard is suitable for measuring samples made of various types of electrical steel sheets (strips), and is suitable for measuring magnetic properties at the specified frequency of the peak value of the electromagnetic polarization intensity and the state of the induced voltage as a sinusoidal waveform. . The measurement is carried out at an ambient temperature of 23°C±5°C, and the sample should be demagnetized before the test.
