- Scope
- This standard specifies the determination method of pulp kappa number. This standard is applicable to all kinds of unbleached pulp with a yield below 60%, and not suitable for determining the degree of delignification of pulp with a high yield. This standard is also applicable to semi-bleached pulp. A maximum of 10 9 samples can be used in a single test. The minimum detection limit of this method is that the kappa number is equal to 5.
