- This standard specifies the technical requirements for environmental protection of electrostatic copiers. This standard applies to black-and-white analog copiers and black-and-white single-function digital copiers (excluding auxiliary equipment, such as fax machines, collating machines, folders, bookbinding machines, etc.) that use electrostatic copying process with a copy speed not exceeding 70cpm. The consumables mentioned in this standard refer only to the unaltered original toner cartridge assembly or toner container provided by the copier manufacturer.
