- This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements of alkyl glycoside products (APG for short). This standard applies to industrial products of alkyl glycosides produced from glucose and fatty alcohols by direct method and glycoside exchange method. Any compounded products or C16-16-based alkyl glycosides used as emulsifiers are not applicable to this standard.
