Scope

This European Standard applies to all types of circular saws for cutting wood and similar materials and cicular knives. These requirements do not cover circular saws and circular knives when mounted in a support for use as fixed tools. This European Standard does not give requirements for the design of the tool to reduce the risks arising from noise and vibration.
