- This standard specifies the 1:50000 geological map of formal rock stratigraphy, informal rock stratigraphy, metamorphic plutonic rocks, metamorphic supracrustal rocks, various types of complex rocks and granite intrusive rock lineage units, continuation ferruginous rocks, supercontinuous ferruginous rocks, Color standards for alkaline rocks, volcanic rocks, subvolcanic rocks, dike rocks and other elements. This standard is applicable to the color design, plate making and printing of geological maps with a scale of 1:50000. It can also be used as a color reference for the preparation and publication of geological maps with other scales.
