- This part specifies the technical requirements, inspection rules, test methods, markings, factory certificates, storage and transportation requirements for electrified railway contact grid structural steel columns. This section applies to contact grid structural steel columns for electrified railways (hereinafter referred to as lattice steel columns). Similar contact grid structural steel columns used in urban rail transit can be implemented with reference to this section. Passenger dedicated lines should not be used.
