Scope: This standard specifies the basic principles and methods for the foundation design of wind turbine towers in wind farms, covering the engineering geological conditions, environmental conditions, loads, structural design, foundation treatment, inspection and testing of the foundation. This standard applies to the foundation design of wind turbine towers for newly built onshore wind farms. The acceptance of project completion and the renovation (expansion) and safety inspection of existing projects should be carried out with reference to this standard.
