1.1 This standard specifies the performance requirements and detection methods of the thermoluminescence measurement system for radiotherapy level dose monitoring, as well as the dose measurement procedures involved in use. This standard is applicable to the measurement of the absorbed dose of X-radiation (bremsstrahlung), Coγ radiation and medical accelerator X-radiation (bremsstrahlung) generated under the condition of tube voltage 60kV~250kV. 1.2 This standard Thermoluminescent measuring system suitable for measuring absorbed dose under the following conditions: 1.2.1 Absorbed dose range: 0.5Gy~3.0Gy. 1.2.2 Absorbed dose rate range: 1×10-2Gy.min-1~10Gy.min-1. 1.2.3 Radiation type: a) X-bremsstrahlung radiation generated under the condition of tube voltage 60kV~250kV; b) Coγ radiation; c) X-bremsstrahlung radiation generated by accelerator with nominal voltage 0.6MV~50MV. 1.2.4 Temperature range: 15℃~25℃. 1.2.5 Humidity range: 50%RH~75%RH. 1.2.6 Atmospheric pressure range: 86.0kPa~106.6kPa. 1.3 This standard does not address use-related safety issues, if any. The user of this standard is responsible for establishing applicable safety and health standards and determining applicable limitations prior to use.
