This standard specifies the classification, size, shape, weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging and quality certificates, transportation and storage of continuous cast iron pipes. This standard applies to continuous casting gray cast iron straight pipes (hereinafter referred to as cast iron pipes) for water and gas transmission. The use of cast iron pipes should refer to the relevant pipeline design technical requirements and construction specifications.
