Scope: This standard specifies the scope of application, testing personnel, testing instruments and equipment, comparative test blocks, testing conditions and procedures, defect evaluation, quality assurance regulations and inspection reports. This standard is applicable to the ultrasonic inspection of forged high-temperature alloy and alloy steel round cake defects with a section thickness of not less than 8mm (such as turbine disks, compressor machine disks, etc.). Ultrasonic inspection of round cakes for other purposes can be used as a reference after negotiation between the supplier and the purchaser.
