- This standard gives general guidance on machine data interpretation and diagnostic techniques. It is intended to: - allow users of condition monitoring and diagnostic systems and manufacturers to have a common concept in the field of machine diagnosis; - enable users to prepare the necessary technical characteristic parameters for further diagnosis of machine status; - give the realization of machine fault diagnosis Appropriate method. A list of machine types is not given as a general guideline. This standard applies to all industrial machines such as turbines, compressors, pumps, generators, electric motors, blowers, ventilators.
