- This standard specifies the requirements for verification of wheat hardness index testers, instrument control, verification items and methods, processing of verification results and verification cycle. This standard is applicable to the initial calibration, subsequent calibration and in-use inspection of wheat hardness index testers (hereinafter referred to as instruments) that adopt the principle of resistance to mechanical crushing and take wheat hardness as the measurement object.
