This Standard specifies the test methods for colour fastness to dry cleaning of dyed
textiles. The test method specified in this Standard, however, does not apply to the de-
termination of colour fastness to the dry cleaning in a wide sense, including stain re-
moval, steam pressing, etc.

symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows.

The symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents
between the corresponding International Standard and JIS are |DT
(identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to
ISO/IEC Guide 21.
Persons using this Standard, even if they are familiar with normal
laboratory practice, should take adequate measures for safety and
health. Special attention should be paid to handling of perchloroethyl-
ene, which can be hazardous to human health if inhaled or taken in in
other forms, and the gasoline for industrial purpose, which may cause
fire ignition or other hazards if improperly handled.
