Scope

This amendment to ITU-T Recommendation G.997.1 contains: – addition of a new management interface "G" between the ME of the NT and the NMS; – optional extension of some Channel test, diagnostic and status parameters and Line test, diagnostic and status parameters to G.992.1, G.992.3, G.992.4 and G.992.5; – addition of a maximum delay variation parameter; – addition of a channel initialization policy selection parameter; – support of new PSD masks of G.993.2.
