Scope

This standard specifies the characteristics of O-rings in fluorosilicone rubber FVMQ, hardness 80 IRHD, for aerospace applications. They are intended to be used in air, mineral/synthetic oil and fuel systems. Operating conditions-Temperature: a) Continuous operation:-55 ℃ to 150 ℃; b) Intermittent service:-55 ℃ to 200 ℃. Limitation: not to be used with phosphoric ester type hydraulic fluids (permanent or temporary immersion).
