- This provision applies to the preparation of preliminary design documents for newly built, expanded and renovated coastal and inland river port projects. For estuary ports that are dominated by tides, and river ports that have both river hydrological characteristics and are affected by tides, the preparation of preliminary design documents may be carried out in accordance with the relevant provisions of these regulations according to different situations.
