- Scope
- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and storage of construction winches (hereinafter referred to as winches). This standard applies to hoists driven by electric motors used in construction and installation works. This standard does not apply to winches used as a mechanism for several types of cranes, construction hoists and foundation construction equipment.
