Scope: This standard specifies the classification, marking, requirements, test methods and inspection rules of marine flanged cast steel steam pressure reducing valves (hereinafter referred to as pressure reducing valves) whose flange connection dimensions and sealing surfaces comply with GB/T 569 and GB/T 2501 , packaging and storage. This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of pressure reducing valves used in ship steam piping systems with temperatures not exceeding 300°C.
