Scope: This standard specifies the classification, marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging and storage of bronze suction sea valves (hereinafter referred to as sea valves) whose flange connection dimensions and sealing surfaces comply with GB/T 569 and GB/T 2501. This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of sea valves for fresh water and sea water ship piping systems.
