Scope

This standard specifies the quality requirements for the first generation of silver-gelatin microforms. This standard applies to first-generation silver-gelatin microforms with low, medium and high shrinkage rates. This standard does not apply to ultra-high reduction microforms, color microforms and COM microforms.
