- This standard specifies the characteristics of A6 format transparent microfiches produced by source files and COM systems to ensure the exchange of information and the distribution of microforms. This standard applies to microfiches of 49, 98, 270 and 420 frames and microfiches of a single frame arranged in uniform grids. Microfiche images can be positive or negative, depending on the needs of the use.
