Scope
This standard specifies the method for the determination of proanthocyanidins in health food. This standard applies to the determination of proanthocyanidins in health foods made from grape seeds, grape skins, sea buckthorn, rose hips, blue berries, and French pine bark extracts as main raw materials. Limit of detection of this standard: the limit of detection (LOD) of the method is 1.5×10-4g/100g, and the limit of quantification (LOQ) of the method is 5.0×10-4g/100g. The linear range of the method is 10μg/mL~150μg/mL.
