Scope

This standard is mainly applicable to the acceptance test of the speed control system of the fixed speed steam turbine driving the alternator in the power station. The speed control system includes a speed regulating system and an overspeed protection system. For other types of steam turbines, it may also be used where appropriate. The selection of test items and other test steps not included in this standard shall be agreed between the supplier and the purchaser.
