Scope
This standard is applicable to combination devices of marine low-voltage switchgear and control devices with rated frequency not greater than 60Hz and rated voltage not greater than AC 1000V or DC 1500V (type test combination devices, partial type test combination devices and non-type test combination devices) ), to supplement the marine part of IEC 60439-1. This standard also applies to higher operating frequency control and power equipment combined installations, in which case the applicable requirements need to be added. Except as specified in the following clauses, all combined devices and their accessories shall comply with the requirements of IEC 60439-1-1999. In case of uncertainty, this standard should take precedence.
