Scope

This standard specifies the type, basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging and transportation requirements of mechanical pig hair removal machines for slaughter. This standard applies to equipment that uses multi-axis rotation to remove hair from scalded pig carcasses.
