Scope
This standard specifies the safety design criteria for fuze electronic safety and arming devices. This standard applies to fuzes that have no flameproof explosion sequence and are disarmed and ignited electronically or partially electronically. This standard does not apply to electronic safety and arming devices for nuclear warhead fuzes. Refer to Appendix A for application guidance of this standard.
