- Scope
- This rule applies to cranes within the scope specified in the "Special Equipment Safety Supervision Regulations". All lifting machinery included in the "Special Equipment Catalog" are subject to regular inspections. Hoisting machinery that is included in the "Special Equipment Catalog" without implementation of installation supervision and inspection and shipped as a complete machine will be directly used by the unit. The local inspection and testing agency shall inspect the inspection items, contents, and requirements specified in these rules before handling registration for use. and method for inspection (i.e. inspection before the equipment is put into use, referred to as the first inspection). Only after passing the inspection can the equipment be registered for use. The list of lifting machinery subject to the first inspection is shown in Appendix A.
