Scope: This standard specifies the level and accuracy requirements, technical methods, workflow and distance calculation methods for medium and short-range distance measurement using photoelectric distance measuring instruments (including total stations) with a measuring range of less than 15km. This standard applies to medium and short-range photoelectric ranging in control surveying, topographic surveying, engineering surveying and other surveying operations.
