Scope
This section applies to various types of impact and impact turbines, storage pumps or pump turbines tested under laboratory conditions. This part applies to the models corresponding to prototypes with unit power greater than 10MW or nominal diameter greater than 3.3m. Generally speaking, it is not suitable to apply the procedures specified in this part to turbines with small unit power or diameter. However, this part can also be used for such machinery if agreed by the supplier and the buyer. In this section, the term "turbine" includes pump-turbines operating as water turbines, and the term "pump" includes pump-turbines operating as water pumps. This section does not cover matters of purely commercial reinstatement, other than matters that must be related to trials. As long as the structure or parts of the machine do not affect the performance of the model or the relationship between the model and the prototype, then this standard neither deals with the detailed structure of the machine nor with the mechanical properties of the machine parts. This part includes model acceptance tests of turbines, storage pumps and pump-turbines to verify that the contractually guaranteed values of the main hydraulic properties are met. If there is any objection to any procedure of the test, then refer to this section, which contains the rules guiding the conduct of the test and describes the methods of measurement to be taken. The main purposes of this standard are: - define the terms and parameters used; - specify the test methods and the measurement parameters involved in order to determine the hydraulic performance of the model; - specify the calculation method of the results and the comparison method with the guaranteed value; — determine whether the contractual guarantee values within the scope specified in this part are met; — define the scope, content and structure of the final report. Guaranteed values can be given in one of the following ways: - Guaranteed values of hydraulic performance of the prototype tested by a model taking scale effect into account; - Guaranteed values of hydraulic performance of the model. In addition, for the design or operation of a turbine prototype, some auxiliary performance data also need to be determined (see 4.4). Different from the main hydraulic performance requirements in GB/T 15613.2, the information on auxiliary performance data given in GB/T 15613.3 is only a suggestion or guidance for users. If the expected conditions of the field acceptance test (see GB/T 20043) cannot verify the performance of the prototype with a given guaranteed value, then the model acceptance test should be carried out. This section also applies to model tests for other purposes, such as comparative tests and research and developmental work. If the model acceptance test has been completed, the field test can be limited to the index test (see Chapter 8 of GB/T 20043)
