Scope: This standard specifies the classification, marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of petroleum asphalt fiberglass tire waterproofing membranes (abbreviated asphalt fiberglass membranes). This standard applies to waterproof membranes made of glass fiber felt as the base, dip-coated with petroleum asphalt, and covered with insulating materials on both sides.
