Scope

This standard specifies the various underwater electrical equipment related to divers' underwater operations, as well as various underwater electrical structures and facilities that may pose hazards to divers although they are not directly related to underwater operations. The basic requirements, including the use of the environment, technical requirements, installation and operation, and emergency measures. This standard applies to diving equipment, equipment, systems, tools, structural facilities related to divers, and electrical safety for underwater operations.
