Scope: This standard specifies the terms used in the fields of machine and mechanism structure kinematics dynamics, machine control and measuring robots, and mechatronics. This standard is applicable to mechanism and machine science, mechanical principle, mechanical design, testing technology, control theory, robotics and mechatronics, and is used for formulating standards and guiding technical documents, and writing and translating teaching materials, books, product manuals and other publications use. In the terms of this standard, English synonyms that are allowed to be used are separated by semicolons, and English abbreviations are given in brackets. Allowed Chinese synonyms (generally corresponding to English entries) are given separately. A small number of Chinese synonyms given in Song should be avoided.
