Scope
This standard specifies the classification, composition, preparation for acceptance, acceptance requirements, testing methods, quality judgment and treatment of low-acid liquid food ultra-high temperature instantaneous sterilization (UHT) equipment. This standard applies to ultra-high temperature instantaneous sterilization (UHT) equipment used in conjunction with aseptic packaging of liquid food and other filling equipment. This standard is also applicable to the sterilization of acidic foods after proper adjustment of the sterilization temperature and holding time.
