Scope

This standard specifies the inspection methods and requirements for lithium primary batteries and storage batteries to ensure the safety of batteries during transportation (not during recycling or disposal). The requirements stipulated in this standard do not apply to situations where there are provisions in our country's regulations or related regulations (see 7.3) that can be exempted.
