Scope

Liquid anhydrous ammonia is highly toxic, corrosive to skin, mucous membranes and eyes, and can cause severe burns if contacted. Proper protection should be carried out during operation. This part of GB/T 8570 specifies the equipment and operating methods for taking representative laboratory samples of liquid anhydrous ammonia (liquid ammonia) from steel cylinders, tank trucks or storage tanks.
