Scope
This standard specifies the determination of industrial butadiene purity and hydrocarbon impurities by gas chromatography: propane, propylene, isobutane, n-butane, propadiene, acetylene, trans-2-butene, isobutene, 1-butene ene, cis-2-butene, isopentane, n-pentane, 1,2-butadiene, propyne, 1-butyne and vinylacetylene. This standard applies to the determination of samples with a hydrocarbon impurity content of not less than 0.0003% (mass fraction) and a primary purity greater than 98% (mass fraction) in industrial butadiene. This standard is not intended to address all safety issues associated with its use. It is the user's responsibility to take appropriate safety and health practices. Ensure compliance with relevant national laws and regulations.
