Scope
This standard applies to containers for beverages and syrup ("filling substances", hereafter called "contents") consisting of several parts (e.g. top end, cylindrical shell, bottom end), which are joined by a suitable method. It applies to a maximum allowable operating pressure up to 3 bar and a nominal volume up to 60 litres. The containers are used as non-returnable packaging.
