Scope

This standard specifies pipe fittings (hereinafter referred to as joints) used for joining cross-linked polyethylene pipes (hereinafter referred to as pipes) that are used mainly for indoor water supply piping and have a working pressure of 0.75 MPa or less, as specified in JIS K 6787. stipulate the following. However, for cross-linked polyethylene pipe fittings, comply with JIS K 6770.
