This standard specifies a small-scale laboratory test method for the relative comparison of horizontal combustion characteristics of small specimens of flexible foam materials exposed to low-energy heat sources. The specimens used in this test are limited to those with a thickness exceeding 5 mm. Test results obtained from specimens of different thickness cannot be compared.
