Scope

This part of GB/T 3386 applies to electric and pneumatic analog drawing recorders that work with standardized signals for process control (for industrial process control systems), including continuous scribing and dotting recorders as well as multi-pen and multi-point recorders. Some tests may not be applicable to all recorders, and some types of recorders may require additional tests. This section is intended to provide technical guidance for the inspection and routine testing of electric and pneumatic analog drawing recorders, such as acceptance tests or tests after repairs. Full performance tests or recorders used under severe conditions (such as high temperatures) should adopt GB/T 3386.1. Whenever possible, the test should be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 18271. The test personnel must have and be familiar with the standard. Quantitative standards for acceptable performance should be determined by negotiation between the manufacturer and the user. The test report should indicate which tests were performed. The requirements of this section shall take effect after obtaining the agreement of the manufacturer and the user.
