- This code is applicable to new or expanded steam turbine generators and gas turbine power plants with a unit capacity of 25MW and above, hydropower plants with a unit capacity of 200KW and above (including pumped storage power plants), conventional islands of nuclear power plants, AC Design of electrical measurement and energy metering devices for substations (distribution) substations with a rated voltage of 10KV and above, and DC converter stations with a rated DC voltage of 100kV and above.
