Scope

This standard specifies the dimensions of reverse dovetail milling cutters and dovetail milling cutters with ordinary straight shank, straightened straight shank and threaded shank. Reverse dovetail cutters and dovetail cutters have the same design features. This standard is applicable to 45° and 60° dovetail groove and reverse dovetail groove milling cutters with diameter d₂ from 16mm to 31.5mm.
