- This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of metal corrugated expansion joints (hereinafter referred to as expansion joints) with flange connection dimensions according to GB/T 569 and GB/T 2501. This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of ship pipeline expansion joints using seawater, drinking water, fresh water, oil and steam with a temperature not higher than 205°C as media. The design, manufacture and acceptance of land pipeline expansion joints can also be used as a reference.
