- This standard specifies the identification method of primary shape low-density polyethylene and primary shape linear low-density polyethylene using differential scanning calorimetry analysis. This standard is applicable to the distinction and identification of primary shape low-density polyethylene and linear low-density polyethylene. This standard does not apply to the distinction and identification of colored, filled, reinforced, modified low-density polyethylene and linear low-density polyethylene.
