Scope

This part specifies the protocol for remote management of broadband customer networks based on public telecommunications networks. This protocol is a remote management protocol based on DSL FORUM TR-069, including device discovery, connection establishment, protocol requirements and session processes involved in the protocol. This section applies to the remote management of broadband customer gateways, adaptation equipment and user terminal equipment under certain circumstances in broadband customer networks based on public telecommunications networks.
