Scope: This part specifies the technical requirements, test methods, test methods, inspection, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of 10Gbit/s ROSA for optical communications. This section applies to 10Gbit/sROSA in applications such as G.709 "OTU2" of Optical Transport Network (OTN), STM-64 of Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH), 10G Ethernet and LOG Fiber Channel. The transmission rate can support up to 12.500 Gbit/s.
