- This standard specifies the method for the determination of tert-butylhydroquinone (TBHQ) in food by high performance liquid chromatography-fluorescence detector. This standard is applicable to the determination of TBHQ in edible oils, fried foods, dried fish products, biscuits, instant noodles, instant rice, canned dried fruits, cured meat products and other foods. The detection limit of TBHQ in various foods in this standard is 0.05 μg/mL (injection volume 10 μL).
